hello all! first, welcome to G2's new blog. This will hopefully allow us to all share information and comments without the mass emails. please check back often for ride updates and reports.
this first post comes with a note of sadness as our ride sunday is in memoriam. thanks to all the G2 rideres who have thus far responded. we know that those who cannot be there will do so in spirit. certainly a note of gratitude to jerry jaxsons for opening the ice cream shop for our use. and thanks to willy and the others of keeping appraised of the larger cycling community's plans. it should be a great turn out. solidarity is always a stirring and powerful thing.
currently, the plan is this:
please assemble at jaxson's ice cream parking lot no later than 6:25. jerry has asked that those who are driving, please park near the south end of the lot. we will then ride east on dania beach blvd. to pick up the larger ride at 6:45. after the ride we are meeting again at jaxsons for lunch and we hope that everyone's schedule will allow for this. it's always good to see everyone assembled!
